At Al-Hikmah Kids Academy Boys' School, we believe in giving boys the best start in life—academically, socially, and spiritually. Our boys' school is dedicated to helping boys from Year 5 to Year 11 reach their full potential, all while staying true to our Islamic values. We follow the British National Curriculum in line with Islamic ethos, and with male teachers acting as role models, we help students become confident, successful Muslim men who excel academically and embrace Islamic teachings in every aspect of their lives, in shaa Allah.

In these formative years, we focus on building core academic skills while instilling Islamic values that will guide your son throughout his education.

Subjects offered

Arabic/Qaeda: Arabic language development or Qaeda for students who are not yet fluent in reading and writing Arabic.
Mathematics: White Rose Maths approach following the National Curriculum.
English: Reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension.
Science: Study of biology, chemistry, and physics, integrating Islamic principles in understanding the natural world.
Islamic Studies: Focus on the Names of Allah, teaching students the meanings and significance of Allah's beautiful names.
Prophetic Medicine: Students are introduced to simple Sunnah-based healthy habits, natural remedies, hygiene, nutrition, and caring for the body through an Islamic perspective, helping them build healthy routines from a young age.
Geography: studying the world’s landscapes and environments and more with an emphasis on understanding Allah's creation.
Life skills: Students develop confidence, communication, responsibility, creativity, teamwork, and everyday practical skills through engaging activities designed to prepare them for real life with strong Islamic manners and character.

As students progress, they deepen their understanding of academic subjects while continuing to integrate Islamic values. Subjects like Business Studies, Islamic History, Computer Science, Islamic Psychology, and Islamic Self-Development are introduced, focusing on both academic knowledge and ethical development through an Islamic lens.

Subjects offered

Tafseer: Study of the Quran’s interpretation, helping boys develop a deeper understanding of the Quran’s meanings and teachings, guiding them in their daily lives.
Islamic History: A study of key events and influential figures in Islamic history, providing a strong foundation for understanding Islam's impact on the ummah.
Computer Science: Introduction to programming, digital literacy, and computer applications, teaching boys responsible use of technology in line with Islamic ethics.
Islamic Self-Development (Year 7,8): Focusing on personal growth, ethics, leadership, and the practical application of Islamic teachings in everyday life.
Islamic Psychology (Year 9): Exploring Mind, Soul and Body from an Islamic perspective, blending psychology with religious and scientific understanding.

Year 10 and 11 focuses on IGCSE preparation, ensuring students are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for their exams while continuing to uphold Islamic principles in all subjects.

Subjects offered

Arabic language: Focuses on developing proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension with an emphasis on Fus'ha Arabic.
English language: Emphasises reading, writing, and analytical skills in preparation for IGCSE exams. Students will engage in literary studies, creative writing, and critical analysis, incorporating Islamic values in written expression.
Mathematics: Covers advanced topics in algebra, geometry, data analysis, and trigonometry, providing a strong foundation for problem-solving skills.
Double science: A broader understanding of biology, chemistry, and physics, integrating Islamic principles.
Islamic studies: It covers key Islamic beliefs, the life of the Prophet (PBUH), early Islamic history, and Qur’an and Hadith commentary, deepening understanding of Islam’s significance in Muslim life.
Business studies: Students learn different business concepts and entrepreneurship, teaching practical skills with a strong emphasis on Islamic ethics.
Computer Science: Programming, digital literacy, and computer applications, teaching boys responsible use of technology in line with Islamic ethics.
Path to Manhood: A guided self-development programme designed to nurture Islamic character, leadership, responsibility, discipline, emotional intelligence, and practical life skills, preparing young boys to grow into confident and principled Muslim men.
