Online primary & secondary school teacher

  • Part-time, 1-year contract with a 3-month probation, possible permanent role.

  • 100% remote – all teaching is conducted online from your home

 

We are currently recruiting for:

  • Junior school (Year 1 to 4) – Female teachers only

  • Girls school (Year 5 to 10) – Female teachers only

  • Boys school (Year 5 to 10) – Male teachers only

 

About the Role

As an online teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons that support academic achievement and Islamic development. Using interactive methods, you’ll guide pupils in both knowledge and character.

 

Key responsibilities

Teaching & Preparation

  • Deliver engaging, tailored lessons using interactive methods.

  • Design and assess tests, projects and examinations.

  • Upload materials and lesson recordings to the LMS.

Pupil Support

  • Maintain a positive and Islamically appropriate learning environment.

  • Manage pupil behaviour in line with Islamic principles.

  • Monitor attendance and track academic progress.

  • Provide constructive feedback and maintain regular communication with parents.

Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and teaching approaches.

  • Naturally integrate Islamic values into everyday teaching practice.

 

Candidate profile

We are looking for teachers with at least 2 years of teaching experience and strong subject knowledge. Online teaching experience is essential.

  • Junior school: experience teaching younger children

  • Girls'/Boys' school: degree in relevant subject and experience teaching that level

 

Skills and competencies

  • Practising Muslim and able to apply Islamic principles in teaching

  • Reliable computer/laptop and internet connection

  • Fluent in English, organised and self-motivated

  • Energetic, positive and calm under pressure

  • Professional conduct and appropriate presentation

  • Skilled in classroom management and digital instruction

  • Proficient in presentations, worksheets and assessments

 

School Hours (UK time)

Monday to Thursday: 08:45-14:10 | Friday: 08:45-11:50

Individual teaching schedules are agreed upon based on subjects and needs.

 

Remuneration:

  • Monthly salary based on experience, subject and teaching hours

  • Paid school holidays (personal leave not included)

  • Performance-based bonuses and incentives
