A weekly chance to make friends online and try something new together, with separate girls’ and boys’ groups from Year 5.
From watercolour and clay to baking, crochet, exercise and public speaking.
What our clubs have made, tried and talked about, newest first.
The Years 5 to 7 girls carried on with their projects, sharing tips on drying clay quickly and combining colours.
The Years 8 to 11 girls made no-bake strawberry cheesecakes together, swapping in mango and date syrup where they needed to.
Years 5 to 7 girls worked on clay models in small groups, and made their own clay from flour where there was none at home.
The first Years 8 to 11 girls’ club was a home exercise session: running, stretching and plenty of cheerful conversation.
The Years 5 to 7 girls’ first club explored gears and mechanics through the inventions of the Muslim engineer al-Jazari, then split into art and crochet groups.
Years 1 to 4 learned the colour wheel, mixed their own colours and painted autumn leaf landscapes in watercolour.
Two afternoons a week, 45 minutes each, live on Zoom.
All times are UK time. FREE for
Girls and boys meet in their own clubs from Year 5. Years 1 to 4 meet together.
Islamic greetings and polite speech, and no mocking of accents, appearance, ability or mistakes.
Phone numbers, addresses and social media accounts are never shared. If children want to stay in touch, parents ask Admin, and details are exchanged only with both parents’ consent.
Social clubs are one of the ways our students get to know each other. Admissions are open all year round, and a FREE 2-day trial is available if you would like to see a class first.
